I notice under the roadmap at: "http://support.chamilo.org/projects/chamilo-18/roadmap 1.9 Beta" you have two features listed for Nanogong
"Feature #3257 Integrate Nanogong"
"Feature #3478 Nanogong exercises"
The last communication I had with David Rossiter is that they are not supporting further development with Moodle 2.0 and therefore unlikely to offer future support.

"We currently don't support Moodle 2 with NanoGong, because Moodle 2 is completely different to Moodle 1 and will require a significant amount of time to understand and develop for. However, if you were able to give us some funding I would employ a part-time programmer to help build it."

Hi Mike,

I guess you are talking about Chamilo, rather than Moodle??
1.8.8.4 has Nanogong integrated, 1.9 seems to have it as well.

I can't tell you wether it's supported, but at least it has to work.. I guess this is why you can see it in the roadmap.

Indeed I was referring to Moodle but as a warning that the developer seems to indicate that they will no longer support it, no matter what platform......I may be wrong, but that's the impression I got. Unless someone else is going to take the support on it seemes risky to include something that will most likely have no support from the developer..hope I'm wrong.

Chamilo support for Nanogong continues and is improved in Chamilo 1.9 (I do). Julio Montoya has improved it too adding audio exercises. So if Moodle is declining and with danger of privatization (Blackboard buy Moodlerooms and NetSpot), we have to do is acclaim the Chamilo different way, and do not bear the others have done.
Anything else?
yes

Not only Nanogong improvement, but also extending the audio tools, with the addition of a open source tape recorder on flash, but does not need a dedicated server (I do). This recorder allows much more compatible files and of course now it has only Chamilo. Hopefully when Blackboard or Moodle to copy not forget who made the innovation.
