Postby devloper » Thu Feb 09, 2012 4:33 am

How we can implement sub gourps in chamilo.

Suppose I have a domain named http://www.example.com/
I wants to create multiple sub groups ie; the url should be like this http://www.example.com/group1
http://www.example.com/group2
http://www.example.com/group3
http://www.example.com/group4
http://www.example.com/group5

How I can implement in chamilo
How can I create groups and sub groups.

Anybody can help me ?

Thanks
Dev.

Could you please give a bit more info on what you are expecting, in which circumstances?

I mean that when you use Chamilo, you have a platform that allows groups with different courses and so on. Here it looks like you basically want to get a "different Chamilo" depending on the URL?

Thanks for your reply.

Here I have two different chamilo such as ,

1) http://www.my-institution.com/universal
2) http://www.my-institution.com/union

Here I want to build one chalimo including above 1) and 2) functionality both of them need individual login , and universal group should not see the union group details, such as their courses and other details.

Thanks

For my understanding, it's mainly the reason to have groups:
Group 1 can only see the courses and learning path/documnt you attach to it, course 2 can see it own stuff, but not Goupe 1's one.

In such circumstances, only 1 access addres (and Chamilo) would do it.

If you have several, the you just have to redirect Group 1 & 2 to Chamilo1 and the other URLs to Chamilo2.
This only if I understood what you expected.
