[ANSWERED] Profilersearch result in Browsererror

Postby fahl5 » Mon Jan 30, 2012 10:28 am

Using the Profilersearch from

http://domain/chamilo_2_1/run.php?application=profiler

results in an Browsererror (Firefox = Blankpage, IE = "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error") with the URL:

http://domain/chamilo_2_1/run.php?appli ... go=browser.

Since the chance to find and contact other User is a very attractive functions for my students I would be happy tomake this work.

Some more Problems with 2.1

Postby fahl5 » Mon Jan 30, 2012 3:19 pm

After some Testing I found the following Problems:

1) After experimenting with the personal Homepage of the Admin, the Admins Homepage is disappeared: When the Admin chooses the "home" Tab or the Logolink nothing below the Header and the darkblue Tabs is displayed at all. I have the Impression, that it might be related to a User Block I tried to insert. This is not the case for the Testuser, who dont have any "Home" Tab but gets the Portal when using the Logolink. The Testuser is still able to add content, colums or new Tabs, while this is no more available for the admin on his "home" anymore.

2) After building one Testportfolio for one testuser the Menuitem Portfolio in the Social-Tab just leads to the Portfoliobrowser no matter which admin or Testuser clicks on it. There is no chance anymore for anyone to build another new Portfolio even not for the testuser himself. It is even not possible to go back to the Editingpages for the own Portfolio via the breadcrump-links.

3) Is it normal, that the Users dont have any Tab "myAccount"? How could they load their Profilepictures. Why are jpg not allowed as profileimage?

4) I have already read the general theoretical documentation about the Rightsmanagement in 2.1 I think I understand the concept, but I have severe problems to find anything of it in the real installed 2.1. Is there any documentation, how I may define any right at all in the Templates, which seem to me nothing but one plain textfield with CFK Editor and no hint how that may relate to the variety of rights that I want to be defined.

5) I dont understand the tolerance of the numeric question. After some testing it appears to me that this question, does only accept the absolutly exact number and nothing else.

Sorry for reporting so much problems. I like chamilo, and would be glad if there would be soon a possibility to use it in german to. That is the reason, why I am interested to help solving all possible Problems. Even if I cannot contribute any more than just my testing.

Have you made any progress yet? I have the exact same problem. I also read the Chamilo 2.0 rights document, but it doesn't become clear to me what I have to do to change any rights. I also see an empty properties field with CFK Editor.
