FLV video playlist

Postby victor » Fri Jul 06, 2012 1:32 pm

My problem is the following, whenever I create a video playlist it is not displayed below or next to the player. Besides, a banner is shown in the upper part of the player that says this:
allowscriptaccess=”always”
However, the playlist seems to be working because once a video finishes another one begins following the order of the xml file.
Any solution to this? Thanks.

Hi,

Could you give a bit more information on how you created the playlist, how you imported the FLV files.
I guess you selected the right tool to import your FLV file into your training path, however, just as a check, didi you use the internal authoring tool, or did you use an external one?

I did the following:
I opened the document editor and click on the icon "FLV Media Player".
Then I selected the option "Media playlist".
And then where it says "Media Playlist URL" I wrote the path to an XML file I created and uploadoed to the server, with the information about the files in the playlist.
Finally I clicked on "OK", and after this it happened what I described in the previous post.
If there is a tool to create playlists within the platform, please tell me where it is and how to use it.
What I did was creating and uploading an XML file following this pattern:

<item>
<title></title>
<media:content url="" />
<media:thumbnail url="" />
</item>

Thanks for your help, bye.
