I'm back,

After some thoughts, the problem seems to be an uppercase or lowercase ... Did you typed it correctly ?

Now, about to insert a new user, you can do it by Inserting a line into the " user " table via the upper menu on MySql

You must take care to use a new "user_id" and set the "status" field to 1 and the "creator_id" field to 1

But your problem seems to be very strange... Are you sure to have enough space on your disk server ?

Hello Alain,

I certain I using the correct uppercase/lowercase because I've both copy/pasted the information right from the e-mail I received from Chamilo, and also typed it myself being aware to type the correct upper/lower case.
If I do create a new user using MySQL, how do I make that user an admin?
I installed Chamilo using SimpleScripts onto my webpage that is supported by Ipage. According to my Control Panel site, I have tons of space left.

I'll try to create a new user and let you know.
Thank you, again , for all of your responses,
Chris

Hello Alain,

I did try to create a new user. I did insert a new user, and I filled in those fields as you specified; however, there were many other fields that I didn't know what to type in. I clicked "go" and received a lengthy report/error type message from MYSQL, and it didn't work.
I don't understand. I re-checked about disk space. Ipage reports that I have unlimited disk space.
I dont' understand how I can't even log in.

Any other ideas?
Thank you very much,
Chris

Hi,

What I should suggest is to reinstall Chamilo.

Two ways to do it - Complete reinstallation with a new DB or Try to do a quick reinstall by deleting the configuration.php file via your CPanel or Filezilla.

Note : It should be necessary to delete the DB and recreate a new one...
