Are there any plans to add classes to Chamilo 2? Ideally I would like the option to segregate students in different classes and groups.

what functionality do you need exaclty?
chamilo2 has platform groups and course groups

I want to be able to have multiple classes but only the students in a class can interact with each other. The Trainer, HR Manager, and Session Mgr would be able to see all of classes. After looking at the code queried the database, I believe I was able to do this with Chamilo 1.8.8.4 using Sessions. I am still testing everything but the chat only displayed the members in the same Session even though the same course was used by the Sessions. I don't see a Session feature in Chamilo 2 so I am not sure if Chamilo 2 will do this yet.
