OK, the error message indicates you are not allowed to access the resource.

You didn't mention it so I bet you didn't use session, did you?
In the platform settings, what are th files and directory settings (777....)?

Note that this only will be available for NEW directoris, not existing one.

If you are on a test platform, then try to assign 777 to the course directory and sub-directories (the command under Linux is, if your course name is MyCourse:

Go to courses directory, then type chmod 777 -R MyCourse
Press return key.

Note this gives ALL rights to everybody.
From here you ensure that at least the user has access to the resource, this may ndicates whether it's a config or right issue.

THIS IS FOR TEST PURPOSE ONLY, don't do it on a production platform :)

Hi Coursenligne,

I didn't use session

I change mycourse directory permission(inside courses directory) and also sub-directories inside mycourse to 777

"From here you ensure that at least the user has access to the resource,.." I got confuse on how to access the resource. do you mean
- access via chamilo system? yes, everyone in the course can access the learning path.
- access via url? system warn me to login - after login, only users who enrolled to the course can see the learning path

"this may ndicates whether it's a config or right issue." so what does it mean?

Thank you.

Does it work?
Yes: your learner didn't have enough permission (rights) => configuration issue
No: your learner have full rights (777) so it's something else we have to discover.

I don't know how to answer you (yes or no) but what I can tell is I still got the same result.

student who is assigned to be a coach can access the reporting but cannot go deeper to specific user details. as attached picture

what should I do next?

Thank you

The thing I would suggest is, as now we at least know that 777 is set to this directory and sub-directories, I would create a new user (Such as "Test") and assign it the coach rights.

There must be somewhere I didn't catch or I don't think of.

I'd like to find the solution !

(admin)
I created a new user (learner)
then I clicked on admin tab and clicked "add users to the course"
then I clicked on my course tab and then clicked mycourse
inside the course, I clicked on users then clicked on edit this user and I checked the assistant tick box. and save then the system indicated this user as a coach

I log in as this new user
there was the same error as before
(mycourse directory and sub-directory is 777 )

Hi,

First of all, I modified the topic so we know that you occur this using 1.9 ;)

Thanks for having given the way you did so we can have a look at it.

I'll perform some extratests to see if I can see something relevant.

I do get the same, U thought this was due to having only 1 trainee, but I created a second one (as the info pannel gives that the coach can only follow other trainees).

You should report this bug if you wish.
