cannot take an exercise second time

Hi guys,
I am using chamilo 1.9 and I have a big problem on setting an exercise.

I created an exercise and set it to be taken only 2 time. when I tested the first time, it looked fine but when I try to access it second time, nothing appeared on my screen.

anyone know how to fix this.

Hi,

First of all, remember that Chamilo 1.9 is not released for production and is for testing purpose only.

Could you give a bit more of information on how you performed the test (using which account and so on)?
In the meantime, you can delete all attempts (but this means ALL attempts, for all students).
You therefore can give a go for another test.
What could happen is that the connection is lost and the platform may consider the first attempt as complete, you then do the "real" test up to the end and the platform sees 2 attempts.
For this, just have a look on the statistics of the course (here of your test) to ensure the number of tries.

thanks for your reply.

I created an exercise and put it inside learning path and I set max number of attempts to 2.

I created a student account to test this. after I finished the first attempt, it displayed saved and then redirected to a blank page. And nothing happen when I tried to take that exercise for second time.

I have deleted all attempts several times by going to test directory >> edit >> result and feedback then delete everything in there . after deleting, fist attempt was fine then it happened again.

am I missing something? any idea?

Are you using a local install of Chamilo, or is it on a separate server?
Do you see anything regarding the number of attempts (when you go as to correct the test, you may see the number of attempts)...?
Anything in the database?

If it's regarding the number of attempts, I can perform a test soon, but as far as I remember, this was perfectly working on my side....

Can you give me the complete scenario you are using, as it's working fine (I just gave a try creating a easy 2 questions test).

Hi,

I've just tried it on the release Beta 1 - Chamilo 1.9.0 nightly 2012-07-17 and everything is working well.

And I've tried it also on the beta release for tests intalled by Chamilo team at http://chamilodev.beeznest.com and it is well too.

I suppose that something is wrong on your side

I tested using virtual machine Ubuntu 12.04, Apache2.x... And 1.9 latest version fresh installed, giving all rights (it's a testing server localized on my computer so not much risk).
It's fully working, using single page or multipages.
I guess it's not platform related.
This however doesn't mean we don't wan to help, but we may need extra information on how you installed and about the environment...
