PROBLEME Vous n'êtes pas identifié en tant que responsable de ce cours

bonjour hello,

 

j'ai continuellement ce message qui apparait, impossible de travailler sur chamilo

 

"Vous n'êtes pas identifié en tant que responsable de ce cours"

"you are not identified as the manager of this course"

 

alors qu'il n'y a aucun cours créé (there isn't any course created)

 

ce message apparaît même lorsqu'on essaie d'accéder à la page d'administration

this message appears even if I try to go to the admin page

Je pense que dans ce cas vous pouvez vous déconnecter de votre compte et essayez de vous connecter à nouveau après actualisez la page, je suis sûr que cela va fonctionner après cela et vous allez certainement avoir aucun problème.

Found it!

We finally found why this problem was caused. The teacher getting this message had incorrect time and timezone settings (in win XP). After setting the time right and choosing the correct timezone, he can now log in without problems.

Still, I'm wondering if Chamilo should behave like this?

Well I saw a similar issue on the laptop of one of our tutors, but only on his laptop.

When I try to log in with his credentials on my laptop, everything works fine.

But when we use his laptop to login, the message "you are not identified as the manager of this course" appears (in Dutch), but the login succeeds because he's visible in the online users.

I've tried with IE8, Chrome and FF on his laptop (Win XP), but nothing works. He sais he has the same issue with his home computer, but when he tries with his son's computer, there's no problem logging in.

Not sure if it has anything to do with the issue, but his Windows/locale is French and Chamilo is set to Dutch only. I can't think of other reasons, the 2000+ other users can log in to Chamilo without problems.

Chamilo version is 1.8.7.1

 

EDIT: it's probably not the language/locale after all, just tried with another French Win7 laptop in IE8 without problems.

do you have the right permissions for the folders and files?

reinstall everything. make sure you login as admin. 

the only occurrence when this problem happens for me is when i activate 'student view" in a course. that is, you already have ceated a course. that isn't your case.

I think my problem could be that chamilo don't recognize that I have logged in ... I can log 3, 4, 5 times as admin, and every more time it increments the number of connected users, as if there were 4 admin logged in

so I can logg in as admin, but chamilo don't remember that I have logged in, and think that I am only a visitor

I don't know how to solve my problem, but it's not a navigator problem, because it works well when I try the inline demo with the same version 1.8

sorry I forgot to say that the error message is accompagnied by another message telling me that I have to try to connect on the main page of the website

but the problem is that I am already connected, that's the reason why I said I think chamilo don't recognize that I am connected
