Hi,

i try to install chamilo 1.8.6.2 to let my students access to it by using an URL like : www.mywebsite.com/chamilo.

I have downloaded the zip folder, dezziped it and put it in my www folder.

I have :

• created my database which is called learnin1_chamilo
• created the user who is allowed to access the database. It's also called learnin1_chamilo

Now, when i launch www.mywebsite.com/chamilo, i can access the index.php file that purposes to install Chamilo. It's ok.

I enter all the informations needed and i can read this error message :

MySQL error: 1044
Access denied for user 'learnin1_chamilo'@'localhost' to database 'chamilo_test_dokeos_connection'
Détails: La connexion à la base de données a échoué. Ceci est généralement dû à une mauvaise configuration de l'utilisateur, du mot de passe ou du préfixe de base de données indiqués ci-dessus. Veuillez les réviser attentivement et essayer à nouveau.

Indeed, by default, Chamilo seems to install into a database called "chamilo_test_dokeos_connection".

I cannot have such a name for my database, it is too long. My webhoster (mavenhosting) only accepts short database names and all of them must begin by learnin1 (first characters of my website).

How can i change the database that chamilo must use. In other words, how can i replace "chamilo_test_dokeos_connection" by the real name of my database "learnin1_chamilo" ?
