Help support the "Libre Graphics Meeting 2010"
The Libre Graphics Meeting (LGM) is an annual working conference for free software graphics application users and developers. The fifth edition takes place 27-30 May 2010 in Brussels, Belgium. Teams from GIMP, Inkscape, Blender, Krita, Scribus, Hugin, Open Font Library and many other graphics projects gather to improve their software and discuss new ideas for interoperability and shared standards.
The organizators of this meeting aim to raise 10.000$ to help cover travel costs for volunteer developers and presenters that would otherwise be unable to journey to Belgium.
As an e-learning software, at Chamilo we frequently use free graphics to display content, for icons, for our news on the website. And we are very sure that most of our followers have ever used free images and graphics on their e-learning courses. For this reason, we want to support the development of a Free, Libre and Open Source application-ecosystem and our way to help is to spread the news among all of you.
In order to help you only have to donate: http://pledgie.com/campaigns/8926. It doesn´t matter if you donate 10 € or a 100 €, all support is welcome.
All donations are tax deductible for US taxpayers. Larger donations from corporations and individuals can be done through this website or contacting them directly at lgm@gnome.org
From the Chamilo team, we wish the Libre Graphics Meeting the best and our best hope of sucess. Good luck with your found rising!
