The Risk prevention at the workplace department of the Zaragoza´s City Council is in charge of the training of more than 5.000 workers in all the issues related to safety at the workplace: general safety procedures, ergonomics, occupational health, etc.

To better improve the grade of safety of their personnel and to facilitate the access to the training session in a more flexible environment, they decided to go e-learning. They have chosen Chamilo to commit their goals, because they were looking for an easy to use platform without renouncing to functionalities and the usual resources used in this type of training. There were many determining factors behind their decision, but one of their main concerns was to choose an open source solution.
